# Depositing Other Funds and Funds From Other Chains

If you do not have USDC and /or WETH on Arbitrum One you can deposit funds cross chain. The funds will be automatically converted into USDC or WETH, depending on which has been selected, on Arbitrum One and transferred into Ithaca Smart Contracts so you can begin trading.

**Step 1** - Go to Dashboard page <https://app.ithacaprotocol.io/dashboard> and click Deposit button.

**Step 2A** - No Native USDC on Arbitrum Available to Deposit

Option 1 - You can also choose a different chain where you have funds to deposit directly within Ithaca. 



Option 2 - You can also deposit USDC on Arbitrum to your wallet via most Centralized Exchanges. 



Option 3 - If you have $USDC.e (Bridged USDC) on Arbitrum in your wallet follow the steps below:

i. Go to <https://app.uniswap.org/swap?chain=arbitrum>&#x20;

ii. In the ‘You pay’ input field select ‘USDC.e’

iii. In the ‘You receive’ input field select ‘USDC’

iv. Click swap and confirm transaction in your wallet

v. Return to this page to continue onboarding

**Step 2B** - No Native WETH on Arbitrum Available to Deposit

Option 1 - You can also choose a different chain where you have funds to deposit directly within Ithaca. 



Option 2 - You can also deposit WETH on Arbitrum to your wallet via most Centralized Exchanges. 



Option 3 - If you have $ETH (not $WETH) on Arbitrum in your wallet follow the steps below:

Go to <https://app.uniswap.org/swap?chain=arbitrum>&#x20;

i. In the ‘You pay’ input field select ‘ETH’

ii. In the ‘You receive’ input field select ‘WETH’

iii. Click swap and confirm transaction in your wallet

iv. Return to this page to continue onboarding

**Step 3** - Select A Chain Where you have Funds

You can select a chain where you have funds to automatically convert and bridge them with Arbitrum powered by Axelar. &#x20;

**Step 4** - Select the Token you Want to Deposit

Select from any of the supported tokens from your chosen chain to be used for depositing.

**Step 5** - Select token you want funds to be converted into on Arbitrum.

Choose from any of the available tokens to be used as collateral (USDC or WETH).

**Step 6** - Confirm the Deposit Amount

Confirm the deposit amount and click the deposit button. You will need to sign 2 transactions in your connected wallet.&#x20;

**Step 7** - Cross-Chain Deposit Status

You can follow the progress of the cross-chain deposit status. This process can take upwards of 30-60 minutes to complete. &#x20;

**Step 8** -  Deposited Funds Shown on Dashboard

Go to <https://app.ithacaprotocol.io/dashboard> and check your funds in the Available Collateral on Ithaca column to confirm success.
