# Progressive Decentralization

The Ithaca Ecosystem will be governed by a decentralized governance structure which will align stakeholder incentives through a token.&#x20;

An eventual token launch will incentivize liquidity, reward early adopters and advance the development of the Ithaca ecosystem.&#x20;
